Just got word from Paramount that the first trailer for “Flags of Our Fathers” will appear before HOLLYWOODLAND. Again, this is not the “combo” trailer that was recently released a few weeks back. This is an all-new trailer that features scenes only from “Flags”. Current buzz is saying it’s a remarkable trailer.

However, the American version (Flags of Our Fathers) will open on October 21, 2006 at the 19th annual Tokyo Film Festival. See our FAQ page for more information on release date.

Official “Flags” Trailer to Appear on Military.com

Posted Thursday, August 31st, 2006

Paramount has informed me that the official trailer for “Flags of Our Fathers” will appear exclusively on Military.com starting September 8 and until Monday 11. You can also catch the trailer at the cinema on September 8, but I am not sure which film it would be attached to. I do not know why Paramount chose to release the trailer the week after Labor Day weekend, a time when crowds are at season’s peak.
